Sheila is Barclay Damon’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee chair and is the primary point of contact for the firm’s largest clients on diversity, inclusion, and equity issues. In her role, she leads the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiative, authoring innovative policies and advising firm leadership on effectively recruiting and using the productive talents, energy, and creativity of a diverse workforce for maximum organizational effectiveness and the best use of intellectual capital.

Sheila concentrates her legal practice on assisting health care not-for-profits with operational, programming, staffing, fiscal management, and Medicaid-compliance issues. She prepares and reviews corporate-compliance handbooks; trains staff, social workers, and paraprofessionals on OMIG regulations; and reviews documents for compliance.

  • As client relationship manager, provides strategic advice and counsel and builds and maintains relationships with major university and federally qualified health-center clients.
