Kate focuses on helping clients protect their intellectual property rights through trademark, copyright, and commercial litigation in federal courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Her research and writing experience includes drafting appellate briefs and proposed court decisions and orders as well as editing content for the LexisNexis Technology Innovation Law and Practice textbook.

Representative Experience

  • Represents an automobile company in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board litigation.
  • Represented a client and helped negotiate a favorable settlement in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board litigation against a luxury hotel and casino.
  • Secured a US copyright registration for a client’s jewelry design.
