Syracuse Office

Barclay Damon Tower
125 East Jefferson Street
Syracuse, New York 13202

As the firm’s managing partner, John has led Barclay Damon’s growth from a 50-attorney firm with three offices to become the largest law firm based in Upstate New York. Most recently, this involved successfully merging legacy firms Hiscock & Barclay and Damon & Morey and integrating the former firms of Gilberti Stinziano Heintz & Smith and Menter, Rudin & Trivelpiece into Barclay Damon. The firm’s strategic evolution has resulted in a seamless platform of offices in midsize, major-market, and smaller cities across the Northeastern United States and Toronto.

In his legal practice, John capitalizes on his experience as a former Wall Street project finance lawyer and trial lawyer at a leading New York firm. He serves a large roster of corporate and individual clients in disputes involving fraud, breach of contract, tort liability, and intellectual property exposure in both state and federal court.
