Don brings a wealth of experience to the firm, where he has practiced for over 55 years. His practice concentrates on representing businesses in corporate matters including SEC filings and compliance, antitrust, and contracts law. Don provides such services to his corporate clients as incorporation, maintenance of corporate entities in various states and foreign countries, as well as preparation of domestic and foreign manufacturing and licensing agreements. He also concentrates on planning, creating, and administering trusts and estates.

Representative Experience

  • Provide counsel on international agreements for sales, marketing, distribution, construction, real estate, employment, business operations, and other matters between the U.S. and foreign parties, including businesses with operations in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, the British Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Columbia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Romania, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Venezuela, and the former Yugoslavia.
  • Counsel to a major corporation on waste-to-energy technology.
  • Former counsel to the Erie Canal Museum regarding incorporation, labor negotiations, financing, applications for grants, support from federal, state, and local governments, and private sector.
  • Counsel to educational institutions, including Onondaga Community College, requiring knowledge of federal, New York State and local education laws, as well as the State University of New York's rules and regulations.
  • Estate planning and administration for individuals.
  • Counsel to downtown Syracuse Presbyterian church.
