Caitlyn is a WNY native who concentrates her practice on family and matrimonial law matters. She has extensive courtroom experience representing clients in complex divorce and custody proceedings both in NYS family and supreme courts. Her practice includes negotiating and drafting property settlement and separation agreements, and she is skilled at reviewing and analyzing complex financial issues and business valuations in high-net-worth divorces. Caitlyn also assists clients with post-matrimonial issues, including the preparation of qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs) to divide retirement assets, modifying prior custody agreements, and enforcing previous court orders.

Caitlyn’s practice also includes preparing prenuptial agreements to establish and protect an individual’s separate property rights in the event of a future separation or divorce.

In addition to her role at Barclay Damon, Caitlyn is designated on the Fourth Department’s Attorney for the Child panel, where she is frequently appointed by local judges to represent children in both family and supreme court matters. This role has given her significant insight into the needs of children and families, particularly in cases involving child custody and domestic violence.
